한국아로마웰니스학회, 2022 춘계학술세미나 28일 제주산학융합지구에서 개최
- 한국아로마웰니스학회(KAWA, Korean Aroma Wellness Association, 학회장 이현주)가 오는 28일 "아로마테라피 산업 변화와 연구 동향"을 주제로 2022년 춘계 학술세미나를 개최한다. 제주산학융합지구 캄퍼스관에서 개최 예정인 올해 세미나에서는 대구한의대학교 화장품제약대학 박찬익 학장, 차의과대학교 이영좌 교수, (주)웰니스라이프연구소 대표 겸 한국아로마웰니스학회 회장인 이현주 박사 등이 주제 발표에 나선다. 2년 넘게 지구촌을 강타하고 있는 COVID-19 감염병 여파로 건강한 라이프스타일에 대한 관심이 높아진 시기에 이번 아로마테라피 학술 세미나는 관련 산업계와 학계의 동향을 점검하는 기회가 될 것으로 여겨지고 있다. 이현주 학회장은 "인류는 고대로부터 방향식물의 향기 물질을 활용해 건강한 라이프스타일을 추구해 왔다"면서 "특히 최근 감염병 사태 속에서 아로마테라피에 대한 다양한 활용 방식들이 연구되고 있어 관련 논의를 진행하게 될 것"이라고 이번 세미나 개최 취지를 밝혔다.

한국상담학회 “국민 마음건강 증진 위한 심리상담사법 발의 적극 지지”
- 한국상담학회 김희수 회장(한세대학교 교수) 사단법인 한국상담학회(회장 김희수)는 ‘심리상담사 법안(의안번호 14984, 최종윤 의원 대표 발의, 2022년 3월 28일 발의)’과 ‘국민 마음건강증진 및 심리상담지원에 관한 법률안(의안번호 15039, 전봉민 의원 대표 발의, 2022년 3월 31일 발의)’이 발의된 것을 열렬히 환영·지지한다고 6일 밝혔다.한국상담학회는 국민의 마음건강을 위해 심리상담에 대한 제도화·법제화 마련을 위해 오랫동안 노력해왔다. 3만2000여명의 학회 회원은 이번에 발의된 심리상담사 법안과 국민 마음건강증진 및 심리상담지원에 관한 법률안에 대해 열렬하게 환영, 지지한다.한국이 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 가입국 가운데 자살률 1위와 코로나 팬데믹으로 국민 마음건강을 위협받는 상황에서 이를 위한 전문적인 심리상담 서비스법을 제도화·법제화하는 것은 매우 바람직한 일이며, 시급한 일임을 표명한다.전문적인 심리상담 서비스에 대한 국민적 욕구는 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 그러나 심리상담사에 관한 법률이 부재한 상황 속에 심리상담 관련 민간 자격증만 3400여건(민간자격정보시스템)에 이르고 있으며, 국민은 전문가를 분별할 수 없는 상황이다. 현재 심리상담 분야 국가 자격증은 △청소년상담사 △전문 상담교사 △건강가정사 △정신건강 전문요원 등이 있지만 각기 특정 연령층·집단을 대상으로 상담 서비스를 수행하고 있어 전 국민의 마음건강을 살피기에는 역부족인 현실이다.일각에선 특정 학과를 내세워 심리상담사법 입법 추진을 반대하고 있지만, 국민 마음건강을 책임지는 일에 특정 학과에만 편향되는 정책을 시행하는 것은 부적절하다. 우리나라의 어떤 자격법에도 특정 학과만을 위한 자격 취득의 제도화는 마련돼 있지 않다. 해외에서도 심리상담 전문가를 특정 학과로 제한하고 있지 않으며 심리상담 관련 전공과 다양한 명칭(전문 상담사, 공인 심리사, 심리상담사 등)의 국가 자격증을 가진 전문가들이 심리상담사로 활동하고 있다.국민 마음건강 증진을 위한 심리상담사 법안이 조속히 통과돼 OECD 국가 가운데 자살률이 가장 높다는 오명에서 벗어나, 코로나 팬데믹 상황에서 국민이 행복한 대한민국이 건설되기를 바라는 바다.

파타야, ‘국제불꽃축제'로 아시아 3대 해양관광축제도시에 지정
- 왼쪽으로부터 카쩐뎃 아피찻뜨라꾼 (Mr. Kajorndet Apichartrakul) 태국정부관광청 파타야사무소장 세계축제협회 아시아지부 (International Festival and Event Association ASIA)가 2021년 아시아 3대축제로 송크란 축제를 선정한데 이어, 지난 3월 24일 세계축제협회 주관으로 통영시민문화회관에서 열린 해양관광축제도시 축제포럼에서 태국의 파타야 시티가 ‘국제불꽃축제(Pattaya International Fireworks Festival)’ 로 통영, 세부와 함께 2022 아시아 3대 해양관광축제도시로 지정됐다. 세계축제협회 아시아지부는 대륙별 축제 전문가로부터 추천받은 26개 지역 중 선정위원회의 회의를 거쳐 후보 도시를 10개로 좁힌 뒤 온라인 설문과 전문가 검토를 거쳐 최종 3개 도시를 선정했다. 이 지정식에는 태국에서 직접 방한한 쁘라못 탐팀(Pol. Lt. Pramote Tubtim) 파타야 시 사무차관과 카쩐뎃 아피찻뜨라꾼 (Mr. Kajorndet Apichartrakul) 태국정부관광청 파타야사무소장 및 지라니 푼나욤 (Ms. Jiranee Poonnayom) 태국정부관광청 서울사무소장이 참석했다. 파타야 시에서 매년 주최하는 파타야 국제불꽃놀이 축제는 인기있는 해변휴양도시인 파타야의 가장 화려하고 흥미있는 행사 중 하나이다. 일반적으로 연말에 열리는 이 행사에는 전 세계의 불꽃 전문가 팀이 참가하여 눈부신 불꽃놀이로 밤하늘을 밝힌다. 불꽃놀이와 더불어 라이브 음악, 다양한 엔터테인먼트, 훌륭한 요리 등 축제 기간 동안 파타야 해변을 따라 즐길 수 있는 다양한 엑티비티들이 준비된다. 태국정부관광청장 유타삭 수파선(Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn) 은 “아시아 3대 해양관광축제도시로 파타야 국제불꽃축제를 지정해준 것은 정말 뜻 깊은 것이며, 한 해 동안 태국 전역에서 즐길 수 있는 환상적이고 다양한 축제와 행사를 대표하는 것” 이라고 소감을 밝혔다.

Hotel Amatte Brings Wellness Community Concept To San Miguel De Allende
- The newest hotel property in San Miguel de Allende opened this past December, elevating the wellness offering in this city, which continuously tops global lists of favorite places to visit. The AMATTE Wellnest Community was built under the guidance of Japanese architect Shinji Miyazaki using sustainable materials mostly based on chukum, a limestone-based stucco mixed with resin from chukum trees, semi-hardwood thorny trees native to the Yucatán. The design incorporates the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, or accepting imperfections. Each of the spaces in this “nest” was created thinking about how guests will experience it, from the timeless beauty of its architecture, bold furniture pieces, sensual rain showers and the pleasing circuit guests make on the terrace, one of the most admired in San Miguel and an ideal spot for contemplating the region’s exquisite sunsets. “The concept of AMATTE Wellnest Community is to provide a space where its guests and visitors can enter a ‘nest’ of well-being, enjoyment and good living,” said Carlos Moreno, General Manager. The 34-guest room building is divided by units comprising eight different categories: Studio, Studio Deluxe, Junior Suite, Junior Suite Colonial, Junior Suite Deluxe, Double Master Suite, Colonial Residence and a complete, two-story Villa. Room features include biodegradable bathroom amenities, spectacular rain showers and air conditioning. The sweeping view from the main hotel entrance up to reception inspires guests to climb the 71 steps that lead them to a space of ultimate luxury and comfort. (Guests can also use an elevator.) AMATTE Wellnest Community offers a terrace with orchard; a dipping pool; fitness center with Life fitness equipment; a spa; a wine cellar, or cava; mixology bars and two restaurants — Piso 71, serving breakfast and lunch, and the flagship HACMANS restaurant. The latter has been carefully designed by renowned Chef Drew Deckman, who has been awarded a Michelin star. HACMANS’ sustainable and farm-to-table menu is cooked in firewood. The hotel concierge can arrange activities both on and off the property, such as vineyard tours, horseback riding, balloon flights and visits to hot springs and the UNESCO Heritage site of Santuario de Atotonilco. The closest airport is Querétaro Intercontinental (QRO), about a 45-minute drive away, the the property also provides transfers to and from Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) near León and Mexico City International (MEX). AMATTE Wellnest Community is located on a hillside, on the east side of Salida a Real Querétaro #168, 10 minutes from the town’s main garden. The hotel provides complimentary transportation to the center of San Miguel de Allende. Nightly room rates start at $265 USD. San Miguel de Allende, located in the Bajío region of Mexico’s Guanajuato state, is home to a melting-pot population comprised of friendly locals and hundreds of expat residents of some 63 nationalities. Renowned for its picturesque cobblestone streets, colonial architecture and perfect natural lighting, the city is a popular playground for artists of all stripes.
